What Our Music Programs Offer
At Between the Strings, we believe music is a universal language that connects communities, inspires creativity, and builds confidence. Our programs are designed for students of all ages and backgrounds — from complete beginners to developing artists — offering hands-on lessons that nurture both skill and expression.
Instrumental Lessons
Students can explore a range of instruments through engaging, one-on-one or small-group classes:
Guitar
Learn rhythm, chords, and melodies, from acoustic folk to electric rock.
Ukelele
A perfect starting point for young learners; fun, approachable, and easy to play.
Drums & Percussion
Build coordination, timing, and teamwork through rhythm-based learning.
Keyboard & Piano
Develop harmony, melody, and composition skills while learning to read music.
Digital Music & Production
Compose, mix, and explore sound through hands-on digital music creation.

Ableton Live Workshops – Students are introduced to digital composition, sound design, and beat-making using one of the world’s most versatile music production tools. They learn how to record, mix, and produce their own music — bridging traditional instruments with modern technology.

Our Approach
Our teachers create supportive, inclusive spaces that encourage exploration, collaboration, and cultural exchange. Lessons integrate rhythm games, local music traditions, and creative exercises that inspire confidence and curiosity.
Community Focus
Beyond lessons, Between the Strings hosts community performances and recording sessions, giving students the opportunity to share their progress, perform live, and gain real-world music experience.
